THE STORY BEHIND PACQUET INDUSTRIE IS ABOVE ALL A STORY ABOUT THE MECHANICS OF A FAMILY

In 1976, Mr Denis Pacquet, who loved mechanics, embarked on the adventure. He created his industrial machining company, Pacquet Mécanique Générale, and quickly focused his attention on the fittings used to transfer fluids. This led him to design and manufacture rotating joints.

Rotary unions, also known as swivel joints or rotating joints: fittings used to transfer liquids or gaseous fluids in a rotating system with the combination of a fixed part and a mobile part while maintaining the perfect seal of the entire assembly.

In 1995, Mr Samuel Pacquet took over the family business created by his father and continued to develop it.

2007 was marked by the takeover of Tecmeca, a company based in the Champagne region specialising in safe access walkways for tank domes and loading arms.

Thanks to this acquisition, Pacquet developed its specialisation in the transfer of fluids by acquiring the loading arm business. From this moment onwards, the company entered the new sector of safe access walkways for tank domes. Tecmeca-Pacquet, emerged as a result of the merger between the two businesses.

2013 was the year of the takeover of Tecmeca and the creation of the Pacquet Industrie group, an industrial group composed of three separate legal entities representing the three areas of expertise developed and acquired over the years:

      • Pacquet Production Mécanique (PPM): Small and medium machining production runs – All industrial sectors
      • Pacquet Raccord Tournant (PRT): Design – Manufacture of rotating joints – Standard and custom-made – All industrial sectors
      • Pacquet Solutions d’Empotage (PSE): Design-Manufacture of loading arms and safe access walkways for tank domes

Pacquet's reputation for its expertise in the design/manufacture of rotating joints is growing, especially in the area of custom design.
